Operating Instructions:
1. Open a command line window:
- Go to the folder where De4dot is located, hold down the Shift key and right-click on the mouse, and select “Open command window here” from the pop-up menu.
- Or just open a command prompt and use the
cdcommand locates the De4dot installation directory.
2. Execute the anti-obfuscation command:
Enter commands in the following format at the command line:
de4dotExample:
de4dot D:\NetworkHelper.dllAfter successful execution, the tool will generate an anti-obfuscated file in the target directory with the suffix “-cleaned”. Example:NetworkHelper-cleaned.dll
3. Validation of anti-confusion results:
Open the generated anti-obfuscation file (e.g. NetworkHelper-cleaned.dll) using .NET Reflector or another decompilation tool. Confirm that the anti-obfuscation has completed successfully by looking at the variables and methods defined in the source code of the file.
